Workshop Brief:

There was once a time when the only way to learn was to join a Gurukul. People would travel long distances to reach a Gurukul and study. Then Gurukuls transformed into schools, colleges, and universities. People sat at their desks in classrooms and learned. Next came computers, and we became self-learners. Suddenly, knowledge was at our fingertips and the need for teacher reduced.

The job of placing learning at our fingertips didn't belong to a single individual anymore. It became the collective responsibility of a team that comprised the following (at the very least):

  • Instructional Designer (who connected with the SME to design and storyboard an eLearning course.)
  • SME (who connected with the Instructional Designer and provided her the raw content for the course.)
  • Graphic Designer (who created, sourced, repurposed art, clipart, photographs, audios, videos - all things media.)
  • Programmer (who put everything together so that the course responded to our clicks and touches.)

But teams are expensive and with humanity's growing programming prowess, it was only a matter of time that organizations thought of reducing the elearning development team-size to one!

With the ID and SME rolled into one and the GD and Programmer replaced by asset libraries and functional templates, rapid authoring or rapid eLearning development quickly caught the fancy of organizations - and this is why, today you hear about the rapid authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline so often.

This workshop will explain the what, how, and why of Rapid eLearning Development and help you map it to your own competencies.

Participants' Views

"Thank you for the opportunity to attend this Rapid eLearning workshop. I came with an idea to get basics of eLearning industry such as how it functions, scope for technical writers if they want to expand their horizons, what is the role of tools, and Ranjeet not only covered all these aspects in the workshop but added much more to it. He answered all the queries of the participants and kept session interactive as well. So thanks a lot to Ranjeet.

Looking forward to taking some certification courses from Creative Agni.

"First of all, thank you so much for this workshop.

I am glad I could be a part of this. My special thanks to Ranjeet. His knowledge and the way he explains things, helped me understand the concept of rapid e-learning. My perception of rapid e-learning was limited to tools but after attending this workshop so many doubts have been cleared.

I would like to attend these kinds of workshops again."
