Workshop Brief:
Presently, we are witnessing a transformational change in the way we generate content. Text, graphics, animations, even videos can now be generated almost instanteously by anyone who types a prompt in any language. The quality of the output that generative AI produces has been improving constantly and consistently. As content creators and learning providers, we are either using certain Gen AI tools already, or we are planning/hoping to use them soon enough.
In this 3-hour workshop, we will:
- Discuss the current state of AI-usage in India and around the world.
- Identify the rewards and challenges of using AI for instructional design and related functions.
- Determine the pros and cons of using AI.
- Ask and answer questions that trouble us about AI both on professional and personal fronts.
- Reflect upon how AI learns and works.
- Discuss the potential growth areas of AI.
- Review and project its impact on content/training-related jobs.
