A little about the book. (Though, you may know some of it already.)
- It took me almost three years to write this book – a fruit of love and labor (you know now why it’s called “For the Love of Instructional Design.”)
- This hardbound, jacketed, and ready-to-party 600+ page book brings you the essence of my 25 years of experience in eLearning and training.
- The book includes around 120 examples to illustrate how ID theory connects with the practice of content creation and learning delivery, across different learning mediums.
- This book uses storytelling to build little bridges between ID concepts and their application in our work and life.
- It brings you its examples in the form of caselets, anecdotes, and humor-laced dialogue.
- It includes several “conversations” that attempt to answer certain practical questions that you might have about various ID concepts.
- The book, quite like the IDCDT-AIM course, uses several of the ID principles it explains and illustrates.
- “For the Love of Instructional Design” is a book that hopes to find a place both at your work-desk and in your heart.
Here are a few pictures to help you see how it looks and feels.
This is all for now 🙂 I wish you a happy reading and learning journey!
